The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" the American as the pair came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming boxing match.
Ex two time world heavyweight champion Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive disparity - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I will damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will really want to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
In spite of these statements, a composed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically recognized for his theatrics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead criticized former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized British opponent Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer said.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's greatest financial successes, frequently receiving massive financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently in the works for 2026.
"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Paul declared.
Size Difference
As both boxers engaged in the usual stare-down, with their height and weight contrast evident, it drove home just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the match is really going ahead.
